As part of Duluth’s citywide camera system, the police department is partnering with subdivisions and private businesses to add cameras to various locations throughout the city. These cameras will be tied into the citywide camera system and monitored by the police. To ensure the cameras are tied into the system, the police department is coordinating the installation. The cost of the cameras and installation is being paid by the subdivision or private business.

The Duluth City Council voted recently to accept $10,219 from the Willbrooke Homeowners Association to purchase and install cameras that will be part of the citywide camera system and monitored by the police.
