A year’s worth of police data shows car break-ins are much more common at one specific metro Atlanta mall than the other large malls in the area.

Channel 2 Action News started looking into this story after a number of car break-ins during the holiday season.

Police say it only takes a crook 22 seconds to break into your car and take whatever you have inside.

We obtained car break-in data for more than a dozen of the largest malls in metro Atlanta. We’ll go through the results, plus what officers say you should do to protect yourself, Thursday at 5 on Channel 2 Action News.
