Gwinnett residents hoping to kick off their holiday shopping on Turkey Day are in luck. Both Mall of Georgia and Sugarloaf Mills will open Thanksgiving evening.

Mall of Georgia, located at 3333 Buford Drive, will be open from 6 p.m. until 1 a.m. Nov. 24. The mall re-opens at 6 a.m. for Black Friday. For shoppers interested in seeing a Thanksgiving movie, Regal Mall of Georgia will also be open during mall hours.

Sugarloaf Mills, located at 5900 Sugarloaf Parkway, will be open from 6 p.m. to 1 a.m. Nov. 24 and re-open at 6 a.m. for Black Friday shoppers. AMC Sugarloaf Mills will also be open for movie-goers during mall hours.
