Some north Fulton public high schools have something new to brag about when it comes to school spirit.

That's because a recent ranking by Niche.com included six of them in its list of 2017's top 25 best public schools in Georgia.

Niche, a school and neighborhood review website, based the ranking on an analysis of data from the U.S. Department of Education along with test scores, college data, and Niche users’ ratings.

Here are the North Fulton public high schools that made the list below:

2. Northview High School, Johns Creek

6. Johns Creek High School

11. Chattahoochee High School, Johns Creek

16. Alpharetta High School

23. Roswell High School

25. Milton High School

As for 2017's top private high schools, Johns Creek's Mount Pisgah Christian School ranked  15th.
