Vice President Mike Pence and media mogual Oprah Winfrey are in Georgia today to campaign for gubernatorial candidates Brian Kemp and Stacey Abrams.

Pence will speak for Kemp at a trio of events in conservative areas. Oprah will appear with Stacey Abrams at a pair of town hall meetings in Marietta and Decatur.

The vice president’s first event is set for 11:30 a.m. in Dalton, followed by a 2:30 p.m. appearance in the Augusta suburb of Grovetown and a 5 p.m. rally in Savannah.

Winfrey's "town hall conversations" are scheduled for 12:30 p.m. at the Cobb Civic Center in Marietta and 4 p.m. at the Porter Sanford Performing Arts Center in Decatur. The events target two demographics Abrams is depending on to win Tuesday's vote: suburban women and black voters.

Polls show Abrams and Kemp in a statistical tie ahead of Tuesday’s vote.
