A Loganville man was killed Friday when his car crashed in Walton County, the Georgia State Patrol said. Troopers responded shortly after 9:30 a.m.

Robert Erwin Poole, 67, was traveling east on Center Hill Church Road when his 1998 Jaguar left the road onto the south shoulder, the GSP said in a statement.

Poole overcorrected, re-entered the road, and left the road again on the north shoulder, according to the GSP.
The car then went down an embankment and overturned, coming to an uncontrolled stop on its roof.

Poole, who was wearing his seat belt, was pronounced dead at the scene, the GSP said. Alcohol or drugs are not suspected as factors in the crash.
