Johns Creek police said Friday that they are still looking for a man who robbed two businesses, including a Waffle House, at gunpoint on the same day last month.

Surveillance footage from Feb. 21 shows the man in a bathrobe point a gun at an employee in the Jones Bridge Road location of Waffle House and demand money, according to Channel 2 Action News.

The station obtained a recording of the worker’s call to 911.

“A man just came with a very large gun and just took all the money and threatened our lives,” she said. “He basically told me if I moved, he would blow me up.”

Hours after the Waffle House robbery, police said the same man was recorded on surveillance footage robbing a Shell gas station on State Bridge Road.

Capt. Chris Byers, city police spokesman, said at the time said investigators believed the man lived nearby because he ran from both scenes without getting in a car.

Byers said Friday that investigators have been “reaching out to all surrounding jurisdictions in an effort to identify him.”

Anyone with information is asked to contact Johns Creek police at 678-474-1600.
