WATCH: Armed man wearing bathrobe robs Waffle House in Johns Creek

Video shows the clerk handing over all the money in the register.

Police believe a man committed two armed robberies in Johns Creek on the same day, including one at a Waffle House while he was wearing a bathrobe.

Surveillance video obtained by Channel 2 Action News shows the man point a gun at an employee at the restaurant on Jones Bridge Road, demanding cash. Channel 2 also obtained the frightened worker’s 911 call.

“This is my first time at Waffle House on Jones Bridge Road, and a man just came with a very large gun and just took all the money and threatened our lives,” she said. “He basically told me if I moved, he would blow me up.”

The robbery took place Feb. 21. Just hours later, the same suspect is accused of robbing a Shell gas station on State Bridge Road, Channel 2 reported. In both robberies, the suspect covered his face.

“We’re talking to business owners, upping patrol in the areas where we have businesses that stay open late at night and are really being vigilant in those areas to watch out for him again,” Johns Creek police Capt. Chris Byers told the news station.

Police believe the suspect lives in the area because he ran away from both scenes without getting in a car.

Anyone with information is asked to contact Johns Creek police at 678-474-1600.
