Crosswalks at three busy Buckhead intersections will soon become much more noticeable, and the community can vote to help decide what that will look like.
Livable Buckhead has commissioned three local artists to develop concepts for the crosswalks that Path400 crosses as it winds through the Lindbergh area.
Path400 is a 5.2-mile greenway being constructed on public land adjacent to Ga. 400 extending from the bank of Peachtree Creek northward toward the edge of Atlanta. The path is expected to eventually connect to the Beltline.

Denise Starling, Livable Buckhead executive director, told Channel 2 Action News she wants to liven up the intersections and mark where the trail goes.
“But also give drivers the understanding that, ‘Hey, this is a pedestrian environment here, and you need to slow down.’ ”
The crosswalks can help create an identity for the area, much like the rainbow crosswalks have for Midtown.
The artists are Chelsey Austin, Cathryn Bozone and Meg Mitchell. The intersections are where Lindbergh Drive, Morosgo Drive and Sidney Marcus Boulevard cross Adina Drive.
People can vote for their favorite concept here. The poll is open through Monday.
