A Clayton County man says his wife requires constant care since a car wreck left her severely brain damaged 23 years ago.

But since the couple's van with a wheelchair lift was stolen from the couple's Riverdale carport, Alfred Kenney has no way of getting wife Christine to her doctor appointments, the man told WSB-TV.

The 1988 Chevy van was stolen last Friday, and the 79-year-old Alfred Kenney told WSB he can't afford to buy another one. He simply wants the one he had returned to the couple's Pine View Terrace home.

“Just somebody wanting something for nothing ... too sorry to work,” Alfred Kenney told WSB.

Anyone with information about the van should contact Clayton County police.
