Frank Lowrie built the model of Atlanta that used to be in Underground Atlanta. He wants to re-build it one more time.

This is a copy of a photograph showing the scale model of the Georgia Capitol build by model train enthusiast Frank Lowrie, 71. Lowrie said "it took me three years to build the capitol in my spare time when I wasn't working."

Frank Lowrie holds the front steps to a scale model of Martin Luther King Jr.'s home. The model display used to stand at Underground Atlanta.

Lowrie holds a scale model of "Tara" the home from "Gone With The Wind." Lowrie says "I want to put it up one more time somewhere it will be near permanent. It takes 90 days to set it up if you want to make it look right and make it look real. I'm 71 so I don't have much time left to fool with this stuff."

This is a copy of a photograph showing the model of the old Rich's building on Forsyth Street. The models are made mostly of cardboard.

Holding a scale model of a Stuckey's gas station, model train enthusiast Frank Lowrie, 71, says "I went to every building that was still standing, smelled them, and tasted them, before I built a model."

Replicas of historic pins add character to the engineer's hat Lowrie wears.
