Authorities are investigating the death of a Forsyth County man whose body was discovered Tuesday afternoon by his food delivery driver.

Deputies responded to a home on Church Road in the northern part of the county about 3:30 p.m. after an Uber driver reported finding the customer dead, Forsyth County Sheriff’s Office spokeswoman Stacie Miller said.

The man was identified by police as 66-year-old Marshal Tallant. His body was taken to the GBI Medical Examiner’s Office for an autopsy, but there is no evidence of foul play, authorities said.

The investigation is ongoing.
