Tusan to become chief judge

Gail Tusan has been elected by her peers to become the next chief judge of the Fulton County Superior Court.

Tusan will take over her new duties for the two-year position on Feb. 1 and succeed Chief Judge Cynthia Wright. Tusan has served on the Superior Court bench since 1995. Before that, she served on the county’s State Court bench and on the City Court of Atlanta.
