A pedestrian was killed when a tractor-trailer hit him late Tuesday in south Fulton County, police said.

Grover Wilsher, 79, of Dallas, was walking on I-85 North at the I-285 split just before 11:30 p.m. when the crash happened, authorities said.

The truck driver stayed on the scene until authorities arrived, according to Fulton police.

It is unclear what caused the crash.
