Georgia lottery players will get their first crack at Powerball in more than a decade tonight, as the multistate game returns to Georgia with a jackpot of $115 million.

The cash value for a single winning ticket in tonight's drawing is $56.4 million.

The Georgia Lottery Corp. originally joined the Powerball consortium in June 1995 but left in August 1996 to join another multi-state lottery, The Big Game, which became Mega Millions in 2002.

There are now 41 states participating in Powerball, which is drawn on Wednesday and Saturday nights.

In Tuesday's Mega Millions drawing, no players matched all six numbers, so the jackpot for Friday night's game will be $20 million. There were also no $250,000 tickets sold in Georgia matching the first five numbers -- 6, 7, 26, 27 and 49, but not the Mega Ball of 9.
