UPDATE: Tin Drum was re-inspected Friday and scored a 97/A. The lone violation, which cost the restaurant three points, was that the inspector "observed food employees wearing watches on their arms while preparing food at the grill/fryer station."

Other than that, the “facility has corrected all violations observed in the previous routine inspection,” the report noted.

ORIGINAL STORY (published Jan. 18): An Asian restaurant failed a recent health inspection, Fulton County records show.

The Tin Drum Asian Kitchen on Piedmont Road scored a 64/U following the Tuesday evaluation. Scores below 70 are considered failing.

According to the report, there was a missing ceiling tile in the back kitchen area. “Ceiling must be properly sealed to prevent entry of pests into kitchen area,” an inspector wrote.

The location’s prior score, from June, was an 89/B. The restaurant chain has numerous locations across metro Atlanta.

Tin Drum did not immediately respond to messages Thursday.

Follow-up inspections are generally completed within 10 days of the original evaluation.
