Timeline of home invasion and rescue of bound woman

August 3, 2010

12:45 a.m. -- An armed intruder enters Amy Windom's Grant Park home, ties her up and steals her cell phone, camera, car and other items.

1:45 a.m. -- The suspect leaves Windom's home on Glenwood Avenue in her 2009 Acura.

4:15 a.m. -- Windom, still tied to her bed, decides to try to open her laptop with her feet and get it up and running.

5:05 a.m. -- Windom begins texting her boyfriend, John Hilton, telling him over the next few minutes that she's been robbed and tied up, and asking him to call 911.

5:10 a.m. -- Hilton calls 911.

5:21 a.m. -- Atlanta police officers arrive at Windom's home, find the front door open and Windom still tied to her bed.
