1. Trump, Clinton loom large over VP debate. Republican Mike Pence and Democrat Tim Kaine on Tuesday largely aimed their fire not at one another during this year's first and only vice presidential debate, but at the opposing side's larger-than-life presidential nominees. [Read here]

2. Ross Harris trial heads into Day 3. The hot-car murder trial will have its first full day of testimony today. With its first few witnesses, the prosecution seemed to follow an almost linear chronology: an officer who responded to the scene; a witness who heard Harris's SUV screeching to a halt in that parking lot; a witness who tried to help Harris get his child out of the SUV. [Read here]

3. UGA's Seth Wilson keeps the streak alive on 'Jeopardy'. Seth Wilson, who is pursuing his PhD at the University of Georgia, has now won 12 in a row on "Jeopardy," one of the longest runs in the show's history. His winnings now surpass $265,000. [Read here]

4. Atlanta airport to hold job fair. Hartsfield-Jackson International is hosting a job fair with employers at the airport offering more than 500 jobs. [Read here

5. 5 things to know about the Falcons on Wednesday. After posting a record-setting 48-33 victory over the Carolina Panthers, the Falcons (3-1) are set to face the undefeated Denver Broncos (4-0) at 4:05 p.m. Sunday in Denver. [Read here]
