The Millennium Gate officially open its door followed by a dedication ceremony at Atlantic Station Friday, July 4, 2008.

The Millennium Gate opened its doors at Atlantic Station on Friday, July 4, 2008. The 82-foot monument houses a 12,000 square-foot museum with galleries about Georgia history and the contributions of many Atlanta's pioneer families.

The dedication and opening were followed by a parade along 17th street and through the retail district at Atlantic Staton.
