The Atlanta Braves announced The Battery Atlanta will be the name of their mixed-use development adjacent to SunTrust Park, the new home of the Braves in Cobb County.

The Atlanta Braves announced The Battery Atlanta will be the name of their mixed-use development adjacent to SunTrust Park, the new home of the Braves in Cobb County.

"This development will bring an energy to the area that will provide our guests with top-notch shopping, dining and living options," said Terry McGuirk, chairman and CEO of the Braves.

The Roxy Theatre will be among the entertainment options at the Battery Atlanta.

The Battery Atlanta's name pays respect to baseball and the new park that will anchor the area.

In addition to restaurants and retail, The Battery Atlanta will be home to One Ballpark Center, Comcast’s regional office headquarters

The Battery Atlanta is being developed by the Atlanta Braves along with retail partner Fuqua Development. Along with the ballpark and retail options, it will have 550 residences.

The Tomahawk Taproom will be immediately outside SunTrust Park, facing the Plaza, and will feature Fox Bros. Bar-B-Q.

Antico will bring its Neapolitan pizzas to Braves fans and visitors of Battery Atlanta.

Cru Food and Wine Bar will add a second Atlanta location near the Cobb ballpark.

Ford Fry will add his Tex-Mex franchise, Superica, to the dining choices available at Battery Atlanta.

Battery Atlanta also will include 550 residences in the development.
