Waited until the last minute to mail your taxes? Lucky for you, there are more than a dozen post offices open past 5 p.m. where you can get that April 15 postmark, including one open until midnight.

In addition to regular post offices, you can send mail and make other transactions at some pharmacies, grocery stores and 24-hour self-service kiosks. Those locations can be found at usps.com.


The post offices open past 5 p.m. in the metro area are:

• Central City, 400 Pryor St. SW, Atlanta, 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.

• 520 W. Ponce De Leon Ave., Decatur, 8 a.m. to 6 p.m.

• 575 Pharr Road NE, Atlanta, 9 a.m. to 7 p.m.

• Cumberland Mall, 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.

• Sandy Springs, 230 Hammond Dr. Suite G, 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.

• Lawrenceville North, 1557 Buford Dr., Lawrencevlle, 9 a.m. to 7 p.m.

• 121 E. Crogan St., Lawrenceville, 8:30 a.m. to 6 p.m.

• 1605 Boggs Road, Duluth, 9 a.m. to 7 p.m.

• 990 Peachtree Industrial Boulevard, Suwanee, 8:30 a.m. to 6 p.m.

• 4370 Lawrenceville Highway NW, Lilburn, 8:30 a.m. to 6 p.m.
