The Suwanee Farmers Market has been extended for two more weeks, giving shoppers a chance to enjoy the market until Oct. 15.
The market will be open from 8 a.m. to noon Saturdays -- Oct. 8 and Oct. 15 – in the parking lot of the Suwanee Police Department at 373 Buford Highway. About a dozen farmers and vendors are expected to participate in the extended market.
The market had originally been scheduled to close for the year on Oct. 1.
