Police have made an arrest in the Saturday morning triple shooting that killed one man and injured two women outside a northeast Atlanta apartment building.

Antonio Marquez Shaw, 24, was arrested Tuesday, Atlanta Police spokeswoman Kim Jones said.

Early Saturday morning, Shomari Grier was sitting on the front steps of an apartment building at 514 Parkway Drive with two women when an argument started, police believe, with Shaw.

Investigators said the argument may have begun over one of the women with Grier.

Six shots were fired and Grier, 31, was hit in the chest. One of the women was shot in the stomach and the other in the leg, police said.

Grier was taken to Atlanta Medical Center, where he later died.

One of the women was taken to the operating room at Atlanta Medical Center, and the other was taken to Grady Memorial Hospital. Their current conditions are unknown.

Shaw has been charged with one count of murder, two counts of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon and two counts of aggravated assault. He is being held at the Fulton County jail.
