A DeKalb County woman is much richer after matching the first five Powerball numbers.
Carmen Burns of Stone Mountain won $1 million in the April 28 Powerball drawing. She bought the ticket at a Quik Mart on Rockbridge Road.
Winning numbers from the drawing were: 31-39-40-57-58 and the Powerball was 33.
Burns claimed her prize Monday at Georgia Lottery headquarters in Atlanta.
Wednesday’s Powerball jackpot is $50 million.
