State honors Gwinnett fire department medical director

The Georgia Department of Emergency Services' Region Three has named Dr. Earl Grubbs of Gwinnett County its 2012 Medical Director of the Year.
Grubbs, medical director of the Gwinnett County Fire and Emergency Services Department, has served the department since 2002, improving pre-hospital medical care and quality of service. The state agency also recently honored 82 Gwinnett firefighters and paramedics for exemplary service.
