Star Trek teachers

Two teachers in Dacula use Star Trek uniforms and equipment to teach math and science.

Jayne Lawson, in her Star Trek outfit, is an enterprising science teacher at Dacula Middle School.

Celisa "Ce-ce" Edwards says her mission is to challenge her students to explore new possibilities.

"We teach them how they learn best," explained Jayne Lawson. "This is an active group. We have an arsenal of tools."

Celisa "Ce-ce" Edwards uses Star Trek themes, high-tech gadgets and clickers to make lectures fun for all learning styles.
