The northbound lanes of I-85 near Spaghetti Junction have reopened after an overnight truck crash that left steel scattered across the roadway.

The wreck happened around 3 a.m. on I-85 northbound just north of I-285.

Police have not said whether anyone was injured, but the AM750 and 95.5FM News/Talk WSB Traffic Center reported that 50,000 pounds of steel spilled from the truck, closing all but the "HOT lane."

Northbound traffic was also getting by the crash site by taking the Northcrest Road exit ramp, then reentering the interstate just north of the wreckage.

The steel was cleaned up and the interstate reopened around 5:30 a.m.
