Officials are warning some northwest Atlanta residents that their water may be cut off Saturday as crews repair two valves in the area.

The work is scheduled between 8 a.m. and 8 p.m.

The streets impacted are Chicago Avenue, Detroit Avenue, Detroit Court, Dixie Hills Circle, Illinois Avenue, New Jersey Avenue, Pinedale Drive, Simpson Terrace, Westchester Boulevard and Yonkers Avenue.

Residents are urged to stockpile water for drinking and to flush their toilets.
