Social Circle man found dead after Mattie's Call
A Social Circle man reported missing Tuesday has been found dead.
Social Circle police did not release details, but said Jim Welch, 64, was located Wednesday night.
An earlier Mattie's Call said Welch was last seen around 11 a.m. Tuesday walking on West Hightower Trail.
He may have been carrying a shotgun, according to the Mattie's Call.
