Snellville police were busy Sunday apprehending a rather slow-moving scofflaw.

The arrest -- and release -- were noteworthy but uneventful, according to a post on the department's Facebook page.

The terrapin's identity was not released, but it was not believed to be the 45-pound pet turtle reported missing last month in Alpharetta.
