Snellville buys nearly 11 acres for town center

The Snellville City Council this month voted to buy 10.7 acres on Wisteria Drive for its proposed town center project.

The city paid $697,450 for the property at the intersection of Clower Street, across from the new police headquarters. Snellville wants to use the property to develop a mixed-use  town center similar to those in Smyrna and Suwanee.
