In order for Six Flags Over Georgia to open for the 50th year, it's going to need some help.

And you might be what it needs.

The Austell amusement park aims to hire about 3,100 seasonal employees, the company said in a news release.

Jobs range from food service and retail workers to ride operators and marketing researchers.

Each job posting will list qualifications. For instance, ride team members "must react well in stressful and emergency situations."

The park, 275 Riverside Parkway SW, is hosting a job fair Jan. 21 and 22. Applicants must be at least 16 years old. There will be other job fairs if you can't make it either date.

Check out and apply for available positions online.

Qualified individuals will have an off-site interview. No walk-up interviews will be available, the company said.

This is an exciting time to be at the park not only because of the 50th anniversary but there's also a new comic book-themed ride on the way. You can check out The AJC's sneak-peak of the ride online.

The park is set to open for the season March 11.
