Sign-ups underway for DeKalb Labor Day 5K

Registration has begun for a Labor Day 5K that emphasizes in DeKalb County.

The Healthy DeKalb 5K run and walk will be held at 9 a.m. Monday, Sept. 5 at Snapfinger Road/DeKalb Medical Center Parkway. There also will be a 1-mile fun run.

Registration is $15 for adults before race day and $20 at the event. Proceeds will benefit County Commissioner Stan Watson’s legislative cabinet, which sponsors community breakfasts every month.
