Sierra Club to discuss transportation tax

The Greater Gwinnett Group of the Sierra Club will discuss the pros and cons of the proposed transportation sales measure at 7 p.m. May 17 at Berkmar High School, 405 Pleasant Hill Road, Lilburn.

Voters in 10 metro Atlanta counties will decide July 31 whether to approve a one-cent sales tax for a variety of road and transit improvements. For more information on the Sierra Club program contact Dan Friedman at dan3688@aol.com.
