Sierra Club to celebrate Earth Day with planting, picnic

The Greater Gwinnett Group of the Sierra Club will hold its second-annual Earth Day Tree Planting event on April 20.

The event will be held from noon to 1 p.m. at Camp Creek Elementary near Parkview High School in Lilburn.

The club will also have a picnic celebrating Earth Day on April 23 following its monthly stream monitoring event.
