Woodstock police are searching for a person of interest after an alleged gang-related aggravated assault not far from the Outlet Shoppes at Atlanta.

About 7:30 p.m. Sunday, police responded to a shots-fired call on Ridgewalk Parkway at the intersection of Olde Rope Mill Road, Woodstock police spokeswoman Brittany Duncan said.

Witnesses told police more suspects were in the area on foot and police recovered several bullet casings, according to a police report.

There was a fight between three pedestrians and a driver, who was the victim of assault, Duncan said.

At least one bullet pierced the car in the area of the back driver’s side door, according to a police report. The driver was not hurt.

One of the three pedestrians, a 16-year-old, was arrested on aggravated assault, carrying a concealed weapon, possession of drugs with intent to distribute, shoplifting and gang charges, police said.
