Three people were wounded in overnight shootings at Atlanta apartment complexes, police said Friday.
Two people were shot outside an apartment complex at 310 Thomasville Road in southeast Atlanta, said Capt. Van Hobbs of the Atlanta Police Department.
A crowd of people had gathered outside an apartment building when gunfire erupted, Hobbs said. One man was shot in the back and was taken to a local hospital in stable condition, he said.
The other victim left the scene in a vehicle and later showed up at DeKalb Medical Center with multiple wounds to the leg, Hobbs said. He was also listed in stable condition.
The second incident took place at the Park at Scotts Crossing apartments off Hollywood Road in northwest Atlanta. Three people approached a man in the parking lot of the apartments and struck him in the face. When the victim attempted to run away, he was shot twice in the back, Hobbs said.
The man was taken to a hospital in stable condition.
