Roswell is the latest metro Atlanta community to join “SeeClickFix,” a citizen reporting tool that lets residents use a mobile phone app to report non-emergency issues to the city and track their resolution.
Residents can use their Android or iPhone to report potholes, tall grass, missed garbage pickups, broken streetlights and other issues, officials said. The app asks the user to drop a location marker on a map and answer some questions to help the city understand the issue. It also lets them send a photo.
“The SeeClickFix platforms provides city of Roswell staff with a centralized issue management system to manage issues from creation to resolution – engaging Roswell citizens throughout the process” and sending them status updates, the city said in a news release.
Residents also will be able to view, comment on and vote to fix problems cited by their neighbors; and create “watch areas” so they can be notified about issues reported in their neighborhood.
