A nonpartisan organization has posted interviews it recently conducted with some of Atlanta’s mayoral candidates on its Web site.

The interviews, done by the Campaign for Atlanta, can be found on www.campaignforatlanta.org.

The candidates interviewed were City Council President Lisa Borders, Councilwoman Mary Norwood, state Sen. Kasim Reed [D-Atlanta] and Jesse Spikes, a partner at the law firm McKenna, Long & Aldridge.

The organization interviewed the candidates on a host of issues, ranging from public safety to finance to city services. It will not endorse a candidate.

Fourteen candidates have signed up to raise money to run for mayor. The current mayor, Shirley Franklin, is prohibited from running for a third consecutive term. Election day is Nov. 3.
