Sandy Springs District 4 voters will go to the polls Tuesday to fill the seat left vacant by former council member Ashley Jenkins, who resigned in January.

Jenkins has made it clear she thinks longtime friend Gabriel Sterling should be the one to fill her seat on the Sandy Springs City Council.

Voters will decide for themselves among Sterling,

Jackson and Williams have countered Jenkins' endorsement of Sterling by attempting to sell voters on their diverse business backgrounds and knowledge of city issues.

However, all three candidates agree on the major issue pushed by Jenkins and residents in the district: they're strongly against Sandy Springs' plan to make a pitch for a new satellite campus of Gwinnett Technical College.
