Sandy Springs police are searching for the man accused of shooting and killing a 31-year-old man inside an apartment Monday night.
Juan Aviilez Dominguez, 29, allegedly told his family members he had shot a man inside a Brentwood Way apartment, according to Sgt. Ron Momom. Dominguez’s 13-year-old sister called 911 to report a man had been shot, according to police.
Officers arrived at the apartment and found a man dead on the living room couch, police said. A single, brass shell casing was found near the man, whose name was not released pending notification of family members.
Tuesday afternoon, Dominguez remained on the loose. He is described as 5-feet-5, weighs between 130 and 150 pounds, and has black hair and brown eyes, according to police. He should be considered armed and dangerous.
