Sandy Springs man reported missing found safe in Atlanta

A 65-year-old Sandy Springs man last seen Tuesday night was found safe Wednesday afternoon in Atlanta, according to police.

A statewide Mattie’s Call had been issued for Alfred Deboest, who left the Golden Living Center on Meridian Mark Drive shortly after 7 p.m. Tuesday, Sgt. Forrest Bohannon with Sandy Springs police said. Deboest took a taxi to the Medical Center MARTA station, where he boarded a train south to the Arts Center, police said.

Deboest was located in Atlanta, but no other details were released.
