A new finance director will start work next week at Sandy Springs City hall.
Amy Davis, a certified public accountant, begins work on Feb. 8. Her job is one of the few hired by the city, which has a contract with a private firm, CH2M Hill, for many city services.
Davis now works as the director of support services in Cherokee County. She will earn $130,000 a year in her role in Sandy Springs.
