Gwinnett County has become one of the state's most diverse melting pots.

And that diversity is not going unnoticed. The Salvation Army Lawrenceville Corps Community Center will hold its 5th Annual Festival of Cultures from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. Saturday at 3455 Sugarloaf Parkway in Lawrenceville.

Activities will include food, music and other performances. Countries represented will include Jamaica, Mexico and Korea.

A $5 donation is suggested to help support The Salvation Army's World Services efforts.
