The Sounds of the Spirit Concert Series will present the Cotton Patch Gospel on Sunday afternoon at Roswell United Methodist Church.

The musical was written by Atlanta-based actor Tom Key and stage director Russell Treyz with music and lyrics by Harry Chapin. The story is based on Baptist minister Clarence Jordan's version of the Gospels of Matthew and John, written in the Southern idiom.
