The first Roswell Lavender Festival is scheduled for 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. June 11 at Barrington Hall. Inspired by Evelyn Simpson, descendant of Roswell co-founder Barrington King, the event honors and commemorates the beauty and various uses of this ancient herb in a lively family-friendly festival setting.
The site's gardens and grounds will feature a variety of demonstration booths, vendors, hands-on crafts and performances.
