Roswell officials will decide Monday whether to accept a $1.9 million state grant for improvements to the Roswell Riverwalk Trail Connection.

The money, awarded through the state DOT, would go toward construction of a 12-foot multi-use trail and wooden boardwalk. Total project cost is $2.4 million.

The city's share of $490,000 has already been budgeted.

The 5-mile park and trail runs from Don White Memorial Park to Willeo Road along the Chattahoochee River. The trail connects to Riverside Park.

The meeting is at 7 p.m. at City Hall.
