Rome man charged with trying to entice a minor for sex

A 60-year-old man has been arrested on charges he tried to entice a "minor" he met online into a sexual relationship, the FBI said Friday.

The arrest stems from conversations Paul White of Rome had with an undercover agents posing as children. The undercover agents were part of FBI's Safe Child Task Force, which also includes local law enforcement.

White is being held in Whitfield County's jail on state charges of child molestation and aggravated child molestation.
