The Stockbridge City Council voted at its July 9 regular meeting to approve nearly $100,000 in road improvement work related to the development of the city’s new amphitheater. The contract with Falcon Design includes $39,500 for intersection improvements at North Henry Blvd. and East Atlanta Road, as well as $58,500 for intersection realignment design at Lee Street and East Atlanta Road.

The task order were requested “for the traffic study, road design, and road improvements for traffic patterns associated with the development and operation of the Amphitheater,” according to a city staff report.
