RaceTrac, QuikTrip to build in Cobb

A RaceTrac and a QuikTrip were approved recently by the Cobb County Board of Commissioners.

The new RaceTrac location will be at the northeast corner of Shallowford and Canton Roads and the south side of Pine Mill Drive.

Headquartered in Cobb, RaceTrac is the third largest privately owned company in Georgia, attorney Parks Huff said.

The QuikTrip will be at the southeast corner of Woodstock and Mabry Roads as a replacement for one that has been there for 20 years, attorney Richard Calhoun said.

The building orientation will be changed to face Woodstock Road, he added.
